Formed in 1944, the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers’ (STLE) mission is to advance tribology (the science and engineering of interacting surfaces in relative motion) and lubrication engineering to foster innovation, improve the performance of equipment and products, conserve resources, and protect the environment.
