Woodford’s convenient location of their fuel station makes my life easy when I’m running late for work and need fuel quick. Easy convenient and competitive pricing with the other 15 fuel stations little Elkins has and now they offer propane services. During the ice storm my family was faced with no power, which in turn meant no heat. Thankfully we were able to get kerosene quickly from Woodford Oil in Ashland, Kentucky! If it wasn’t for these guys I’m not sure what we would have done! Thank you Woodford Oil!
I want to give a big thank you to the dispatch and drivers at Woodford Oil. I called and asked for a delivery of fuel oil, they stated it would be Monday (5 days out). However, when I explained that I was completely out and without heat, they went above and beyond to get me a delivery set for the next day. Thank you all for going above and beyond, we are extremely thankful.
When we moved into our home years ago, we decided to go with a local company for our oil needs and after a few years it felt like we were more of a burden to them than an asset. When it came time to switch we chose Woodford and immediately got what we were looking for. Great people and great prices! In truth, it’s not even about the price as much as it is about the experience. Woodford Oil is reliable, efficient, and it employs some of the nicest and hardest working people around! Cody has proven that he is a huge asset to Woodford in our eyes because he has always been helpful, efficient, and most of all friendly and respectful when he delivers to us! He is, in my opinion, a huge part of what makes Woodford Oil my family’s choice when it comes to heating our home!
I used to get propane from another local company who I was very dissatisfied with. The last time they filled my tanks they left both valves opened and I ran out of propane in weeks…. and late on a Saturday! I called Eric from Woodford and he was willing to help me! I brought one of my own tanks to his shop and he filled it for us to get us through until we could switch to Woodford and have new tanks installed. He was a lifesaver! I would highly recommend Woodford! Awesome service!!
My employer has used Woodford Oil for at least a year now to purchase all of our oil to service generators. The prices are great, very good customer service, and typically our orders are ready for pick up the next day or Woodford delivers them right to our office. I highly recommend working with Woodford Oil!
I want to express how satisfied I am that I switched to Woodford Oil. Eric and Terry went above and beyond to make sure I got the best service. Eric came to my house and installed my gauge so I could make sure I never ran out of fuel. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me so I never have to worry about my tanks being overfilled again. They are both very friendly and are very prompt when I call for fuel. It’s a pleasure doing business with both of them and I have passed the word around to all my family friends and neighbors. Keep up the great work guys!
Woodford’s crew is awesome! Working at Elkins Metal Recycling we need propane for our cutters, we need diesel to run our machines. We purchase oil, grease, and miscellaneous supplies. When we are in need, we call and they’re here fast!! Can’t go wrong there!

Today, Woodford Oil arrived on time as promised. They brought a new tank, leveled the ground beneath it, installed with a crane from the road and performed a safety check before filling it. The two servicemen, Steve and Trey were professional and kept me apprised of the process throughout the job. I was very impressed and appreciative of the work they did. I would recommend them and Woodford Oil to everyone.
