The annual TRC was established in 1997 to recognize and reward the creativity, technical aptitude and business knowledge of high-school-aged students from around the country.
In addition to learning technical and mechanical skills from their restoration of an antique tractor, participants develop important teamwork, project management, budget management, planning and marketing skills.
Several prizes are awarded, including $10,000 for the Grand Champion, $5,000 for second place and $3,000 for third place.
