Spring Propane Giveaway
April 11 – May 30, 2024
Up to 200 Gallons of Propane + Delivery

1. Eligibility: This Giveaway is open only to those who fill out the “Request a Quote Form” on Woodford’s website and who are at least 18 years of age as of the date of entry.

Current Woodford Propane customers can enter the Giveaway just by filling out their account number, or other account-identifying information. New or potential Woodford Propane customers must request a quote for propane by filling out the form with their full contact information, including the estimated number of gallons of propane.

Additionally, to be an eligible registrant for this Giveaway, contestants must own or rent a home or business that has a propane fuel tank on premises and live within 60 miles of one of Woodford’s five propane bulk plants in Markleysburg, PA; Morgantown, WV; Elkins, WV; Reedsville, WV; and Marlinton, WV.

The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Maryland and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of Woodford Oil Company, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and suppliers (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

2. Agreement to Rules: By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agrees to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of Woodford Oil Company as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Giveaway.

3. Giveaway Period: The Giveaway will run from Thursday, April 11, 2024, at noon, Eastern Time, to Thursday, May 30, 2024, at noon, Eastern Time.

4. How to Enter: The Giveaway must be entered by filling out the “Request a Quote” form on Woodford’s website.

Current Woodford Propane customers can enter the Giveaway just by filling out their account number, or other account-identifying information. New or potential Woodford Propane customers must request a quote for propane by filling out the form with their full contact information, including the estimated number of gallons of propane.

Alternatively, entries may be handwritten and mailed on a 3″ x 5″ card with your full name, complete address, phone number (including area code), date of birth and email address (optional) in an envelope to: Woodford Oil Company, Attention Marketing Dept.: 2024 Spring Propane Giveaway, 1 Thirteenth Street, Elkins, WV 26241. All mail-in entries must be postmarked five business days prior to the Giveaway end date and must fulfill all Giveaway requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Woodford Oil Company.

You may enter only once. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If You use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission(s) may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Woodford Oil Company.

5. Prizes: One (“1”) prize will be awarded by each of Woodford’s propane bulk plant offices, for a total of five (“5”) prizes. Each prize will consist of up to 200 gallons of propane plus one-time delivery within 60 miles of Woodford’s propane bulk plants in Markleysburg, PA; Morgantown, WV; Elkins, WV; Reedsville, WV; and Marlinton, WV. Up to 200 gallons of propane will be delivered. If a Winner’s propane tank does not hold 200 gallons, the remainder is forfeited. A winner must own their propane tank or switch to a Woodford rent-free propane tank (subject to credit approval).

Any other specifics of the prize(s) shall be solely determined by Woodford Oil Company. Prize(s) are nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation, any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner.

6. Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

7. Winner Selection and Notification: Winners will be selected by random drawing via a computer program. Winners will be announced via the Woodford Oil Facebook page and the Woodford Oil website, within 48 hours after the Giveaway ends. Woodford Oil Company shall have no liability for any Winner’s failure to receive notices due to security settings or for a Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If a Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within 30 days from the time award notification was sent, the prize may be forfeited. Receipt by a Winner of the prize offered in this Giveaway is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

8. Rights Granted by You: By entering, You understand and agree that Woodford Oil Company, anyone acting on behalf of Woodford Oil Company, and Woodford Oil Company’s licensees, successors, and assignees, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the world, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Giveaway, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.

9. Limitation of Liability: By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless Woodford Oil Company and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assignees, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the Giveaway and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to, the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Giveaway; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Giveaway or the processing of entries.

10. Winners List: To obtain a copy of the Winners’ names or a copy of these Official Rules, mail your request along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: Woodford Oil Company, Attention Marketing Dept.: 2024 Spring Propane Giveaway, 1 Thirteenth Street, West Virginia, 26241. Requests must be received no later than 10 days after the Giveaway has ended.

11. Sponsor: The Sponsor of the Giveaway is Woodford Oil Company, 1 Thirteenth Street, Elkins, West Virginia, 26241.

12. Facebook: The Giveaway hosted by Woodford Oil Company is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
